HARD WORK AND SUCCESS AT EVERY AGE GROUP..

THE NEW YORK STORM TRAVEL BASEBALL summer season is off and running, sprinting through the month of June with much success. Every team at every age level has performed well on the field, highlighted by some very key accomplishments.

Our two 13U TEAMS  have performed very well in several tournaments, including a Semi Final spot at the CT SPORTSPLEX SUMMER LEADOFF tournament, and a Semi Final placement at the TRIPLE CROWN NEW ENGLAND REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Our two 14U teams are rolling through the competition with very key semi final placements in 2 PG SUPER25 National Qualifiers.  Currently this weekend,  the 14U SHOWCASE team will come out of "pool play" as the #1 seed in their bracket at the PG NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in Fort Myers, Florida.  To-date, our team has beaten two "nationally ranked" teams - the TRI STATE ARESNAL and the BANDITOS SCOUT team(team based out of California and Texas)

The 15U TEAM have taken their winning record at the local level and earned a Semi Final spot at both the BASEBALL HEAVEN FATHERS DAY TOURNAMENT and THE BLUE CHIP PROSPECTS GREAT AMERICAN CLASSIC in Long Island, NY

Our 16U SHOWCASE and the 17U SHOWCASE has scored several  accomplishments this summer, earning impressive records at the very prestigious 18U NEB Invitational and the 16U NEB Invitational, with a combined 6-2 record against some of the best teams in the northeast.  At the prestigious PBR SUMMER CLASSIC Showcase event, 7 players from our 17U team were invited to showcase their talents in front of over 80 colleges.

The NY STORM COLLEGE SUMMER TEAM (comprised of 20 players that are either already playing college baseball or graduating seniors who will be playing college baseball this fall and next spring) has had a very busy June, playing in both the ICBL Summer College Wood Bat league and the ENYTB 22U league.  The purpose of this team is to give some of the best graduating seniors from the capital district the opportunity to face highly competitive college level pitching and hitting every game this summer - to best prepare them to compete when they get to college this fall.  With over 20 games scheduled for July, our boys will be ready next spring in college!

JULY promises several more key competitive tournaments for our program, including next week's 17U BUCKEYE ELITE CLASSIC(over 80 colleges to attend), PBR CARDINALS SUMMER CLASSIC, the PERFECT GAME NORTHEAST SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIPS, and two DIAMOND NATION WORLD SERIES (13U and a 14U)tournaments.

Much continued success in July to every team in our program!  Before you know it, tryouts will be here for the Fall 2017 and summer 2018 season.
